 We’re looking for a motivated team player to join our production team! This role is hands-on and fast-paced, requiring attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work well with others. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. The right candidate will grow into operating large-format printing and cutting equipment, as well as assisting with installations. 

 The Woodshop Production Manager will lead all aspects of woodshop operations, including scheduling, team management, production processes, finishing, and on-site installations. This hands-on role requires strong leadership to ensure projects are completed on time, within specifications, and to the highest standards. You'll collaborate with the owner on innovative projects, develop efficient processes, and foster a productive team environment. This position demands expertise in woodworking, painting, vinyl graphic installations, project management, and operational improvements to support our growing business.  

 ✅ Oversee the woodshop schedule, team members, production workflows, finishing tasks, and installations to ensure timely and accurate project completion.

✅ Proactively review upcoming schedules to procure necessary materials, verify and approve renderings or art files, and confirm all order details are followed from inception to delivery.

✅ Maintain equipment in optimal condition, keep the production area clean and organized, and ensure team members remain focused on assigned tasks and priorities.

✅ Update project progress on schedules and job boards, manage timelines effectively, and lead on-site installations while coordinating directly with customers.

✅ Collaborate with the owner on special projects, ideation sessions, and new product development to drive innovation and business growth.

✅ Work closely with the team to clarify project scopes, confirm material availability, and recommend alternatives or best practices for efficient execution.

✅ Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to promote productivity, efficiency, and consistency across operations.

✅ Design and refine new processes, policies, and reporting tools to streamline workflows, improve performance, and enhance overall operations.

 🔹 Proven proficiency in all areas of woodworking, including hand tools and a variety of saws (e.g., table saws, band saws, miter saws).

🔹 Strong experience in painting methods to include: paint, varnish, wood stains, oil-based, polyurethane and HVLP-spraying.

🔹 Install vinyl graphics, wallpaper, wall coverings, decals, and signage with care and precision. 

🔹 Strong expertise in PC computers, CRM systems, project management software, and Microsoft Office tools.

🔹 Demonstrated experience in managing a small team, including time management, task delegation, and fostering teamwork and dependability.

🔹 Excellent communication skills for interacting with leadership, team members, and customers; ability to read, write, and interpret sales orders and technical documents accurately.

🔹 Solid organizational and documentation abilities, with a focus on creating clear reports and maintaining accurate records.

🔹 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to solve problems, optimize processes, and support sales readiness through operational efficiency.

🔹 High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in woodworking, manufacturing, business management, or a related field preferred.

🔹 At least 3-5 years of experience in woodworking production or a similar manufacturing environment, with 1-2 years in a supervisory role (suggested to ensure candidate readiness for leadership responsibilities).

🔹 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in a shop environment with exposure to dust and noise.

🔹 Willing and able to work on a lift and able to handle heights.

🔹 Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

✅  Travel to job sites (local and regional) to complete onsite installations in retail, office, and construction environments.
✅  Troubleshoot installation challenges on the fly and adapt quickly to client needs. 

✅  Safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and power tools safely and confidently. 

✅  Production Assistance - Help make signs and other products we sell. Involves the use of saws, lasers, and other woodworking tools.

✅  Deliver exceptional customer service with a professional, positive attitude. 

✅  Perform quality checks, prep projects for shipping, and keep digital records of completed jobs. 

✅  Assist with packaging and coordinating outgoing shipments.
✅ Stay Organized – Manage schedules, track orders, and keep things running smoothly.
✅ Communicate & Collaborate – Work closely with our team to ensure customers stay informed and satisfied.

⭐  1+ years of installation experience (vinyl, signage, wall wraps, or related). 

⭐  Familiarity with common tools and installation equipment 

⭐  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. 

⭐  Excellent communication skills—friendly, professional, and clear.

⭐  Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines independently or with a team.

 🔹  Must be at least 18 years old
